Majik City Entertainment needs to work on some stuff. When I arrived they told me I could not bring my camera in...I wish the guy who had emailed me telling me that I *could* bring my camera had gotten the correct info...but I went ALL the way back to the car and put it up. When I entered the place I saw the concession stand in the back and there was a sign that said "CAMERAS - $12". Are these guys money hungry or WHAT?? I did not buy a camera.... The venue (skating rink) was pretty cool. The dancers were not (but this opinion is coming from a girl...the guys really enjoyed the dancers...but they were rather bitchy to me). Also on the flyer it read $1 re-entry....when I went outside to chill with a couple of people and came back inside they charged me $3 re-entry. I *hate* it when the flyer says one price and you get rudely surprised with another. WATCH WHAT YOU PUT ON YOUR FLYERS! And if it's an expensive party (like $20 for local DJs) you should not charge re-entry in the first place. Anyway, the sound (which a lot of people hated) I liked b/c I wasn't deaf by the end of the night. OK. I think I've reviewed enough. Overall I had a good time cos I saw a bunch of people I had not seen in a while! :) Just a few things that the MCE crew did ticked me off.

Once again, I am pleased with Solutions work! It was an awesome party - nice venue (even tho it WAS Heartland...place was good for a party), good music, friendly faces, etc....only thing is not enough people showed up (due to not enough promotion)!! Had this party been packed out it would have been TIGHT!! Of course had there been TOO much promotion, the city of Wetumpka might have caught on and it could have gotten shut down....so I dunno, maybe less was more or something (all I know was *I* had fun and a lot of people missed out! :). One of the speakers on the main floor sounded kinda bad (busted I think), and the power got cut a couple of times during Ulysses' set, but it was an overall fun party! I took a lot of photos which should be up soon. Saw a bunch of people, goofed off, had a good time. :) The cops were no bother (from what I saw...) but there was the big share of fucked up kids in the corners. Oh well. Ulysses tore it up, Hazeus...great, B & MC Adi - always a pleasure to listen too. :) Wisdom kicked some ass....and I think that is all that I remember hearing where I KNEW who was spinning. There was more...just can't think right now. Anyway, hope to see everyone out at the next SOLUTIONS (Sept. 29th in Auburn). LATA!

I had a blast at Ken's party, as usual. :) It was another good vibe infested time!! I got there around midnight and the place was jumpin' jumpin'. Still a bit hot there...but I mean it was pretty much outside. All the DJs were on target and I finally got to hear Tenkae spin....he is such a crazy ass. Anyway, I saw a lot of people, took a lot of pictures, introduced my best friend, Sarah, to everyone whose name I knew. Hehehe...it was great fun. Mad props to Ken and the Boom Shock Society! Keep up the great work!!

Ummmm....due to an incident involving me backing into my daddy's state trooper car (plus being low on fundage), I was unable to make it to this party. I heard good things about it from some people, bad things from others...but I cannot properly critique without having been there so....oh well. I did, however, go to Liquified Universe in Atlanta the following Saturday night. My first massive!! It was WONDERFUL! I had the best time. Euphoric experience....really. I saw Adi there and he informed me that Supernatural's second room (tent outside) got shut down by the cops early on into the night - noise ordiances. But that's all I know. Til next party... :)
